Traveling on a plane has always had its pros and cons: Long waiting rooms, small seats at economy class, uncomfortable bathrooms and weird food. But in the other hand, within ours, you can travel from one continent to another all around the world, and that’s why we ignore all the ugly part just to enjoy new destinations.
Now that things seem to be going back to normal and people is deciding to make that trip that they had to cancel last year, we asked around to see what are the tips and traveling hacks to make any flight more comfortable.
So, if you are looking forward to plan a trip, you should consider the following advices!
If you are the kind of person that plan all your outfit, you are totally a #pro on this. What we mean with ‘dress strategically’ is for you to prepare for cold or warm temperatures on the plan (because that’s something you will never know). Wearing a lot of layers in cotton and soft materials will help you to put or quit them off depending on how hot or cold it is. The only bad thing about this is that when it is hot, you have your hands busy with a lot of clothing. For that, we recommend you to always bring a bag or a purse where you can hang on your sweater or jumper, or simply tie it to your waist #So80’s. Here are some of our favorite airport looks you can get from Pretty Little Thing
2. WEAR THE RIGHT SHOES
Please, don’t be that person who wears heels or clunky boots while traveling. We are not haters of that type of shoes, but when we are talking about comfortable times at the airport, those kinds do not fit in with its definition. Why? Because they are difficult to slip on and off so you can get through security without making everybody wait and pressure you to hurry up with their look and silence. And if you want to take them off once in the plain, you can bother the person seating next to you in your attempt of trying. Another recommendation for you is to wear a comfy pair of socks or slippers for you to walk to the bathroom and free your feet for a while.
3. BRING EARPLUGS
Mute all crying babies and chatty passengers with your own pair of earplugs. It is clean and more comfortable to bring your own so you can enjoy your own music or downloaded movies peacefully. And once we said that, it is time about one of the most important things while traveling:
Technology has helped us a lot when we talk about this theme. But if you are planning on making a long trip, we recommend you some old school entertainment such as a book. And it hasn’t to be a reading book! You can find out some game books with Sudoku exercises or a Find Waldo One! Whatever helps to keep you busy while time pass by. But we have to remind you: As we are talking about traveling comfortable, don’t forget to bring a good pair of glasses or contact lenses that will help you to stay awake from headaches (because everybody knows that is not comfortable at all). 5. HYGIENE KIT
Even if its a short or long flight, you should always bring with you a personal hygiene kit so you can feel fresh and clean, therefore comfortable. What should it contain? A tooth brush with toothpaste, some perfume or body splash, a couple Kleenex, sanitary towels, a clean pair of underwear and soap. Bring that in all your trips and you will be prepared for any unexpected situation.
6. SAFETY FIRST
Last but not least, you have to remember that it is important to stay healthy so you can fully enjoy your trip. That’s why we can’t forget to be conscious and protect ourselves with a face mask and cleaning our hands constantly with soap and alcohol. Airports can still be a risk point of contagious disease, so ‘better safe than sorry’.
Remember that any trip can be a new way to know yourself, so follow this couple tips and get ready to start a new adventure with your best hopes and expectations! Do not let the nerves of flying overcome the opportunity to connect with yourself, how to do that? Simply shift your mindset and reframe your thoughts so that you can truly appreciate your thoughts and feelings. Do that not only while traveling, but every time you need to focus on your own self improvement. #EnjoyIt!
